This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It is written to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

We do not ask for, and do not want, sensitive commercial documents through this website. Do not send import documentation through a web form.

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting a form on this site. Where you buy a paid service, we also process what is necessary to perform that contract and to meet our tax and record-keeping obligations.

You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to info@bizbrains.in. Withdrawal applies going forward; it does not undo processing already carried out, and it does not affect records we must keep by law.

• Enquiries and tool submissions: up to 24 months from your last contact with us, so that we can pick up a conversation where it left off.
• Records relating to a paid engagement, including invoices: eight years, as required for tax and company records.
• Analytics data: as retained by the analytics provider under its own settings.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We share only what is necessary with the processors that run parts of this service:

• The payment gateway, to take a payment and to process a refund.
• The scheduling tool, to book and confirm a call.
• The analytics provider, for the usage data described above.
• The hosting and database provider, which stores the site and its records.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

As a data principal under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

• obtain a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed;
• have inaccurate data corrected and incomplete data completed;
• have your data erased where we no longer need it for the purpose it was collected for;
• nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become incapable of exercising them;
• have a grievance heard and answered.

To exercise any of these, write to info@bizbrains.in with enough detail for us to find your record. We will respond within a reasonable period, and in any event within the period the Act requires.

Access to the records behind this site is restricted to named accounts, protected by individual passwords, and controlled by database-level rules that limit what each account can read and write. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with a reputable hosting provider. No system is perfect, and we will tell you and the Board if a breach occurs that requires notification.
