Calculator output is indicative
The duty lookup and the savings calculator compute figures from the rates held on this site and from what you enter. Actual duty depends on the classification of your goods, their valuation, the input-output norms that apply to your manufacturing, and the notifications in force on the date of clearance. The savings figures also separate a permanent saving from a timing benefit; read that distinction carefully before quoting a number internally.
